About Me

Designing learning that people can actually use.

I’m Behnaz Sharifimohna, an educator and instructional designer based in Cork, Ireland. With more than 12 years of experience in teaching, educational leadership and learning design, I bring a strong understanding of how people learn, where they struggle, and what helps them move from information to action.

I am currently completing an MA in Online & Digital Learning, where I am developing my practice in instructional design, LMS course development, interactive e-learning, assessment and accessible digital learning.

Today, I design learning experiences using tools such as Canvas LMS, Articulate Rise 360 and H5P, combining structured course design, scenario-based learning, assessment, accessible content and practical learner resources.

From the Classroom to Digital Learning

My background spans English and mathematics teaching, academic coordination, teacher support and materials development. Working with learners across different ages, levels and contexts taught me that effective learning is not about adding more information. It is about deciding what matters, structuring it clearly and giving people meaningful opportunities to practise.

That experience led me towards instructional design and e-learning. I now combine teaching expertise with learning experience design, LMS architecture, interactive development, assessment design and accessibility to create learning that is practical, purposeful and easy to use.
